Remains to be seen soon in qualifying where everyone stands when they use all of their power and the least amount of fuel for that one fast lap. For Mclaren we have two missions this season. First beating up these shameful copycats Racing Point and prove to them that copying a car doesn't provide you with victory than getting up there on your own. Second defeating the midfield and reaching someone of the top 3.

If we want to challenge Mercedes at some point we will have to succeed in both missions this year and especially the first one.

Well it's time to see where we stand. Time of truth.

All I can say is good luck to the team. Don't forget. The one who is best in total(that means reliability, speed, driver and team performance) will win the best of midfield.

It is indeed. We are much closer to Mercedes, Red Bull and Ferrari this time we are almost touching them. Let's see though if we can manage Q3 as a lot of teams are fast this time. We pretty much abandoned the last lap otherwise I believe we would have been in the first 3 places.
