W02 is 0.705 down on the best time of P3. I predicted they will be down about 0.7-0.8 for qualy & hopefully will get a 5th-6th spot to finish the race.

W02 is certainly bridges the gap a bit & is more or less near or around Ferrari's pace & close to Mclaren's pace in Monza

Formula 1 teams will be forced to stick to Pirelli's camber limit for the Italian Grand Prix after the FIA intervened in the matter on Saturday morning.

Karun was obviously offended when he got Jakes joke about a "duck". Karun is great to have as a commentator he brings driver's knowledge and insight to the viewers and for Jake to be picking on him for no reason other than to humiliate him was frankly a low point of FP3. I hope that it settles down and they smooth things out between each other.
Jake Humphrey!?!? He is the BBC TV anchor and doesnt go near commentary. You mean David Croft. I really enjoyed their little debate and in no way saw it as anything like trying to humiliate him. They are good mates having a little banter/discussion. Smooth things out between each other?! Did you not hear them laughing in the background, its all good natured. For me cofty, karun and ant make free practice. Often not that much is happening and their debates are the most interesting thing happening.

I would've said HAM BUT VET ALO WEB for top 5 quali after yesterday; but after today's FP3 results, all bets are off for me.

Talking of bets, let's see what the odds say for qualifying and the race..

I read something interesting on Autosport. Just thought i´d share it here and see what you guys have to say. I personally don´t know what it could be.
Felipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton showed that Ferrari and McLaren have some work to do if they are to challenge for pole after ending up 0.498s and 0.571s off Vettel following their qualifying simulations, although with Alonso down in eighth place, almost one second off, there is a suspicion that there is more to come from Ferrari.
Massa was third! I know it´s FP3 but still, third! Where were the Mclarens and Alonso. Anyway that bold part was pretty interesting.

Are they suggesting that Ferrari either is sandbagging a little or sandbagging to the point that they actually could take pole here?

I missed FP3 so that´s why i´m asking.

No, Ferrari didn't sandbagging. They are one second slower than RB and Mclaren on the harder tyre. Massa do his time on the last lap of 4th lap stint. Alonso had a big trouble to heat the tyre, he was waving during his stint.

Ferrari car needs 4-5 laps to heat the soft tyre. I think they will do the same that they do in Canada in Q3, do a lot of lap on the softer tyres.

Massa is very good this weekend, while Alonso had a big problem with the balance of his car.

Ok i see, i guess we will see what happens. Alonso has this ability to put the car on the grid where it really should not be so we´ll see ;)

Hoping for a perfect lap as in Spain ;)

It looks as though both sets of tyres get faster and faster over 4 lap runs. Pole may just come down to who crosses the line last, though I have a feeling these soft tyres will cook themselves in the race with this many laps done in qualy.

Higher track temperature, Ferrari is better and better, even on hard tyre
