It seems like he is. Im sure it's impossible to have that much dropoff on hard tires. Super soft yeah offcoz. He either had too much fuel or they set up the car completely off...

After two consecutive runs of single timed laps (surrounded by one or two untimed laps), Vettel does a 1:22.356 on the first run and pits.

Then a 1:22.197 on the second run and pits.

Could just be checking to see visual degradation on quickish laps with different setups.

Perez goes 1:22.743 on SOFT tyres, followed by a 1:24.287


Hamilton obviously having none of Vettel and Perez's times, is out on track again.

Edit: and does a 1:22.726, edging Perez by hundredths, followed by a 1:24.560, then a 1:26.641

11:24 Hamilton's lap included a new outright best in sector three. Despite topping the sector one speed trap, he surrendered around three tenths to Vettel in the opening split.

11:23 That didn't last long. Hamilton, still running on hards, reclaims second with a 1m22.726s.
