Mercedes have got this in the bag, looks like a certain Bottas pole as he will be running second.
Lewis will just get a tow from elsewhere. 8 other cars on track.

Or he could just decide that he doesn’t need no stinking tow.......like last race.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

interesting that it's so close, because normally (unless anyone is carrying way more fuel) now the FP3 result should be closer to the real pecking order in Qualifying than normally

Just saw earlier in the session the fastest Speed Trap so far... Romain Grosjean at 351km/h.

Either they're running the power unit at absolute maximum and deployment with minimum (or no!) downforce, or that was a heck of a tow! Wouldn't be expecting a Ferrari powered car to be anywhere near the top, regarding speed.

RED FLAG

More issues for Ricciardo, pulling off to the side. Hopefully he doesn't cop a penalty ahead of qualifying changing one of the units...

Since they can only use ICE in one mode, FP3's laptime could be very close to the Q3 performance. They can now only run higher MGU-K mode in Quali.

there was a bad sound. Can they change gb or pu in 2 hours? I think he miss Q. It would be good competition there.

They can fix Ricciardo. No problem. Does he have a penalty free engine left should it be broken?

whoa

was Lewis the only driver who tried to stay within the mandated time at the end there?

Why wasn't Bottas time deleted? He was clearly off.

WOW, that was close from Hamilton there... that could've been a major accident. They really need to properly enforcing/regulator a faster Out Lap. Unfortunately, they'll probably react when we get a major accident rather than respond.

Someone could have used a "detuned" map in FP3 so that to sandbag and meantime reduce the number of kilometers/minutes run on the higher performance map, because, as far as I have understood they can use whatever map in free practice sessions. From the beginning of the race they can use only one map (except for safety car and formation laps).
