Is there something wrong with Rubens right side front wing endplate? the announcers dont seem to notice....

It really does look like it has been bent although it doesn't seem to be flapping if it has been.

Edit: Are there any rules against cars retiring, to say save their engines, if they have no chance of gaining points?

There is indeed. The end-plate's hanging on!

I could see the gap between the endplate and wing grow and shrink as the car was hoisted... one of the front pinning sofr it is broke I guess.

Without that much testing, all the data they can get on the car is good for them. If they were in the tail end of a championship fight maybe it would be considered and disregarded, cuz it would make the sponsors unhappy, so I don't think you'll ever see that.

Oh yeah.. when rubens came out of the pits there was a black thing that flew up in the air/

My pronostic was Vettel - Button - Hamilton, I'm not so bad.

Excellent race again for Button, Vettel too.
Trulli surprised me, I thought he was going to finish 5th, behind Vettel, the Brawns and Hamilton.

I believe it was something on the track. French commentators said so.

Pretty good race. Excellent first few laps. Great over-taking by Webber and a good fight for 2nd between Trulli, Vettel and Hamilton too.

Ferrari finally score some points in Kimi. Luca must've had a few choice words :P

Giblet, I'm guessing that's a piece of carbon fibre from the contact on the first lap.

Congratulations Jenson and the Brawn Team!

But a little question : is the Brawn car a bit "on the edge" regarding weight rules? Jenson has spent the all last lap driving on dirty side of the track (and making dirt and other things to stick to his tires)... Maybe the tank was really empty!

maybe they are running fuel as ballast?!?!?!?!!

They allways tell all the drivers to pick up weight, just in case, cause they lose weight from the brakes and such over the course of the race.

No it was Trulli. 1.34.556

Well done Button. Great drive and strategy.. Excellent from Hamilton to beat Rubens. Good job from Vettel and Trulli [who looks shattered!]

=D>

Every car drives on the marbles on the slow down lap to add a bit of weight to the cars. Nothing odd there.

What was the sign on the collar of Vettel's over-alls? I saw the FIA's logo but that's it.

SpeedTV AND TSN are showing the race on TV.

I was in my PVR guide, which has daily updated information from TVGuide. It told me off air. 30 minutes before the race, the guide updates again, and the race is scheduled to be on TSN.

The listing for Speed is still off-air, but it is broadcasting, strangely, live, with no delay, so the timing is in line with their broadcast for a change.
Weird...Speed had it blacked out here, but TSN was starting the race 20 minutes later.
