Agreed. Losing out to STR and HUL has totally ruined what was a decent enough strategy

Strategy doesn't seem to be working out - McLaren was never really good with one stoppers.

Why is there an issue with the engine? Aston Martin confirmed that porposing costing them a chunk of time and it’s been accepted by most pundits that Williams are the slowest or second slowest car. Even as a McLaren fan myself, the team need to look internally rather than blaming Mercedes or attributing some fault at their door….

That’s a silver lining… It wasn’t talked much, but McLaren is supposed to have a new / innovative pit stop equipment (the guns themselves)

The Mercedes Engine for all Mercedes cars including the factory team is not working properly. But for Mclaren there is also a fundamental problem with the car and not the engine only.

The pace on the Hards right after the pitstop isn’t bad… 1.39.3, faster than even Magnussen in P6
