Guess again.
Born in England, raised in Australia. That makes him a Brit by birth if not by upbringing. As Australia wasn't fully independant of Britain until 1986 i.e. long after he was brought up there, one might reasonably call Windsor "British". Independace was a long process, however, so the precise date is more difficult to pinpoint unlike, say, the USA.

You're all still our children, though, even though you've gone on and grown up successfully. We're proud of all of our colonial children  ... :D

Didn't say we actually want him, just that he was born here... :)

I love the fact that their head of aero is updating us about the status of the car. Who needs a PR team?

Thanks Dr. Warren!

According to Will Buxton, USF1 havnt even booked the crash tests, let along actually sat them. But, the thing is that he has said that if there is a team fail before the season is out, that there could be at least 2 teams that the FIA will be able to choose from. One Stefan GP, with questions about them, their personell and their methods. However, the second team that the FIA have been seemingly courting as a 14th team, albeit it would take 6 months to get them up and running for a car and such, is Lola, and Jean Totd could let them in even tho their initial registration said that it was looking at the Toyota RVX-09 or Renault RS27 for power and not the spec Cosworth power.

Personally, i think that Max sored an own goal with the entry system. But at the same point, some of the entrys scored a simmilar own goal as well. What should have happened, is Prodrive and Lola should have teamed together and followed the Virgin model, Lola design and develop the chassis, Prodrive build and run it. What i think was Mosleys own goal, was the pushing of the spec Cosworth engine and XTrac gearbox and at the time KERS unit as well. By all means he should have allowed Manor in, i think they will be good eventually, but he should have allowed a Prodrive/Lola entry with non spec power, and a USF1/Dallara colaboration as well.

The FIA should have got more partnerships into the sport, as that would have ultimatly bette better in the long run i think.

But i hope that USF1 can get their stuff together and launch their car this week, as well as pass their crash tests and such. We need to have 13 teams in Bahrain. But the 11 teams that have realeased a car at present will probably make it to the end of 2010, i can see USF1 and Campos drop out early eason for Campos and mid season for USF1. Leaving 2 new places for 2011 up for grabs.

What a bizarre statement!

Perhaps this may enlighten you as to Australia’s status as an independent nation, and member of the British Commonwealth:

http://www.australia.gov.au/about-austr ... federation

And, if you’re too lazy to click on the link:

Australia became an independent nation on 1 January 1901. The British Parliament passed legislation allowing the six Australian colonies to govern in their own right as part of the Commonwealth of Australia.”

Look back a few pages to where longtime members were posting music videos and pictures of southern cuisine.

Where do you get off calling a new member on this and not calling old members on that other (beep)?

Seriously?

Anything anyone posts in this thread gets a reply where they are being (beep), its hilarious, some of you need to (beep) more.

Not to mention, that someone purposely signed up to a F1 site to reply to a post that is so far (beep) that no one gives a (beep), and that the post itself is, in fact, not related to F1 at all...

This whole thread is a mess! How can you blame someone for coming in, looking around, seeing a complete disarray and lack of focus, then respond IN KIND?

It's par for the course in this mess of a thread, and going after a new member, rather than someone who has been around for a long time and should know better is ridiculously shortsighted.

Could everyone please get back on topic?

Independance, military strategy, etc, have nothing to do with the USF1 team. And on this page less than a handful of posts are on topic and of quality.

This thread really needs a good cleansing.

Bet it won't get one. (Mod Note: no)

The powers that be know that USF1 is a shitstorm magnet. Letting this thread continue on as it is means all the off topic (beep) goes here, and doesn't spread everywhere else in the forum. There are enough bad sentiments towards USF1 that they will get out - either all in one spot, like this thread, or else the entire forum gets a 1" layer of (beep).
