Only 2 tenths?
A new floor and sidepods? Or no new floor yet perhaps
Mclaren upgrade was according to them "only two tenths". It ended up being a lot more than that on the track.
Anyway, I'm curious about this "look stunning" comment. I'm always up for a visually intriguing upgrade
My guess is yet more undercut as has been the case with the last few sidepod changes of the RB18/19
I'm also speculating that original plan was a larger upgrade package for Hungary and then nothing after summer but the Hungary package was split up with current advantage in mind. Why bring the new floor yet if old floor has races left in it
I think it's somewhat pointless to see radical new sidepods halfway through a season which has already been won. So I assume it's with an eye towards the RB20.
I suspect it's some kind of inverted bath tub design. Either the tub is in the side face of the sidepod, or it's on the underside, sitting above the old undercut. Something very scalloped. Perhaps it was being prempted with the raising of the sidepod inlet. That would qualify as "stunning".
Or it could all be bs, and it's just a new mirror
