Depends on engine type. Turbo engines with single turbo like the Audi R18 uses center exhaust.

Maybe I missed something, but last year Audi used blown diffuser, how is it possible with a central exhaust?

Forgot about that. But wasnt it only the "longtail" versions who used blown diffusers?? Anyways the older R18's used central exhaust.

EBDs have been made illegal for 2014 LMP cars, Audi may return this year to the central exhaust Holm86 is talking about.
