Perez has to stick it on the front row if he wants to continue his fight for WC with Max. I dont think he has the pace to match/beat Max this weekend however.

He will breeze paat the Ferrari in two laps more likley. His focus is probably on race pace, the expected safety car and how to attack Max in the closing stages.

Since the Porsche is a closed cabin vehicle maybe radio messages sent to avoid the truck is safe enough? I dunno just guessing.

Will see in a couple hours what they look like.

When I go to see a certain series, I always watch the support races too. It would bug me paying all that money for a ticket and watching just 1 session/qualifying/race

This is not a live session. The Porsche supercup cars were being moved to the pitlane from the support paddocks.

Verstappen is in another dimension in sector 1 so far. Taking 4-5 tenths out of Leclerc and Perez. The rest of the sectors are fairly comparable to others.

It seems to me that Max is demanding a little too much from the mechanical transmission of the RB since the beginning of the season. If the asphalt is slippery this can cause problems.
