They don't. They are racist spaniards that have gone there just to boo at Hamilton and trhow fluorescent parafine to any McLaren that gets close enough.
Really? I only thought a couple of those people would be stupid enuff to dress in gorilla suits... but now you tell us its the whole stand full... the racism problem is much worse than we thought... somebody should do something.

I thought most of those people were there to cheer Alonso(as opposed to Nelsino) but thank you for informing us of the real reason.
I hope you will have your sarcasm meter turned on next time ;)

I was just being cynic. I have edited my original post, since Diesel may have found it too aggressive.

More or less back to topic, in the last few years there have been pretty massive crowds in Jerez testing days, to watch Alonso. I'd say that as far back as 2005. I do recall Alonso saying on the TV that he had difficulties going to the toilet during Test days, I think in 2006.
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

Was it not legitimate supporters of Kimi who dressed in gorilla suits at the Italian GP in reference to his maritime expedition? Or am I missing something? Being where I am, I haven't heard every detail about that alleged racism-laced test session in Spain; did those fools also don gorilla suits? Or was it something else? Anyway...

I haven't found an article which includes a driver's description of driving in a sandstorm. Have y'all seen an article quoting one of the drivers in Bahrain? Thanks! One has to assume that all that sand has some sort of effect....
Best regards. I guess this explains why I'm not at my post!

If you guys watch Wednesdays test video you can see Webber driving into the track through the incorrect place, instead of following the pitlane until the curve he cuts into the track right after the pitwall ends. Approximately at 2:47.

That is extremely dangerous because another car could've been driving close to the pitwall, which is pretty much the race line into the curve, and hit Webber.

Not so sure what are you on about, but I read a story like a year ago that Kimi dressed as a gorrila and his friend from national hockey team dressed as a giant bee went for a stroll is some finnish town. Kimi was nearly run over by a car having scared the $**t of the poor driver. Not every day you see a giant bee and a gorilla with a banana in its hand running across the street

Yes some of the racists wore gorilla suits with signs that said "Hamilton's Family" and threw bananas at the track.

And yes some Kimi fans wore gorilla suits in entirely unrelated incident.

Oh, it didn't cross your mind that the unrelated incident was the "maritime expedition" that I explicitly mentioned? [-X I obviously had no idea that Kimi's Finnish boat race and the Formula One testing session in Spain months earlier were two separate incidents. I did ask about the incident in Spain, but there was no doubt about my comment on Kimi... :|

What is the point for Torro Rosso to run THAT much mileage on the old car? Sure they have a pretty good estimation of how the tyres works since a long time already! Do they feel unconcerned by mileage restriction because they are basically two teams sharing the testing duties? Or are other teams just too conservative?... :?

Simple, they are doing engine reliability testing for ferrari - the engines have to do 3 weekends each now.

Btw, Nando has managed a 1:19.846 comfortably faster than any other '09 car at Jerez - so I guess Renault found some speed after all! :)

They might want to do something about this, tho: [-X

Why? It's changing the livery a little bit, so it can only be good!

I can understand that indeed... But at this rate, they'll soon be out of testing mileage...
