Does F1 technical pay repeat fees? See my previous posts, I've covered that already.WhiteBlue wrote:I the interview I saw Hamilton said that he made a wrong choice without the F-duct. He also mentioned that he was running behind Webber in the corners and loosing downforce. But he did not complain of blocking.
You don't have to behave like an a$$ Plus, you did not mention Hamilton losing downforce because of Webber. That, I did.andrew wrote:

Good that he didn't.WhiteBlue wrote:He also mentioned that he was running behind Webber in the corners and loosing downforce. But he did not complain of blocking.
Not in the interview I saw which was imediately after qualifying. Seems it was added later for whatever reason.Shrieker wrote:The track condition usually improves from practise to quali as you know, and as was the case here today. Virtually everyone posted better times in qualifying compared to the practise.
If Lewis says that the current config he used today was the 'wrong' choice then that doesn't explain everything. For once, it doesn't explain how he ended up posting a slower time in qualifying contrary to everyone else. Sounds to me an excuse to get rid of the media real quick and focus onto the job at hand.

Maybe they got the tip from here (me )andrew wrote: Not in the interview I saw which was imediately after qualifying. Seems it was added later for whatever reason.
True. He seemed pretty disappointed with the result. Maybe it was just that?avatar wrote:In Webber's interview, he seemed a bit "shaken", like he feeling a bit rough this morning or something...?

What rot, Hamilton said himself that he screwed up by not using the F-Duct and was sliding all over the place thru out all of qually.Shrieker wrote:Webber held up Hamilton at the last try. Hamilton slowed down in the run to parabolica before his final lap to allow himself some gap but Webber slowed down too. Unfortunately Hamilton made an error in his first lap at the 2nd chicane. He could've easily gotten a front row position.
Different conditions mate, what he did in P3* means nothing!Shrieker wrote: Guys, Lewis posted a 22.4 in the morning practise and that was without the f-duct too. The only logical explanation to this is the one dougskullery has given.
On the plus side he was 3/10ths faster than Seb and seemed to have his measure on the soft tires in general.andrew wrote:True. He seemed pretty disappointed with the result. I wonder if the new wing tests have hampered Red Bull? Whilst Horner has played down their chances, I didn't think they would be that thy would be the 3rd team.
