Oh. So you can do CFD by eyeball and mental math then?
We'll see. The other part of this is not knowing how much of their issue is inherent to the car design and how much is a poor setup or prep work before the event. Something must have caught them out for the car not to just be slow but to be all over the place.
Will be pretty apparent pretty soon.
I cannot, and I will not do CFD by the eyeball. Regarding math, I've studied quite a bit of it…
It's MY OPINION that the acer ducts are wrong, that doesn't make it neither right nor wrong. I've never claimed to be right, I just expressed my idea on the subject.
And regarding to how much of their issue is inherent to the car design and how much is a poor setup, both Fry and Domenicalli have clearly stated the team had to backtrack on the original exhaust system, and the whole design concept of the rear of the car (blowing the brake ducts), due to the major issues they found in the Jerez test (loss of downforce on the corners, tyre overheating), and improvise a "compromise" and more conventional solution, until they can make the original design to work (IF they can).
According to the very people of Ferrari, technical director and sportive director, the car is on the back foot from the very beginning,
