Mercedes AMG F1 W03 (pre-launch speculation)

It's difficult enough to make such comparisons with full, hi-res pictures. I don't know what, if anything, can be taken from a photograph of a car juxtaposed with a heavily obscured digital rendering.

It's not the new car, is it? Other teams did a similar thing, Red Bull used a shot of the RB7 in their teaser.

It's still a teaser, they've kept their promise! =D>

i think it is, because mecedes did the same thing with the real car. the exhausts and the bump are hidden

Form here most probably it will feature a low nose like McLaren as from the picture if it was taken from the top of the car and if the car feature a step nose the Mercedes logo should be appeared almost flat and leveled but now the logo seems to be slanted down

all other cars had a high nose in 2011

Well even in a stepped nose it is never 100% flat & camera angle from such a height can change perceptions. Its difficult to understand flat or slanted from that angle & height. Its all speculations at this point.

Yup and I think they will revert back to it.

Just a guess as you cant really tell much from the teaser.

the bgp01 nose is legal for 2012, but the w01 one is not

non car manufacturer companies need to take a back seat while the prestige rules once more (Mclaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, Lotus, Williams...even though they are struggling).

Please enlighten us about the car manufacturing capabilities of Lotus and Williams.

From what i can see, I'm loving the car already. I dont think it will disappoint us in the looks department. btw, Good comparison with the F2012...is it possible to compare it with the W02?That will highlight some changes.

So far fairly W02 ish then I always thought 2012 Ferrari had taken a leaf out of the W02 design with the hunched forward pods.
