Disaster, they dont need so many excuse to say, "we are not going to use the new exhaust sytem due to the lack of km".

Anyway, its a little bit early and these storms dont last too much, so I hope we will have a dry session.(at least L2).

No - rain stopped before GP2 started. (I should know - I'm at the circuit)

The circuit has been resurfaced with a very dense asphalt, and it's proving very dense. Very hard for the water to dry.

Rain's stopped now to be replaced by stifling humidity. GP2 cars busy drying out the track, ahead of start of first practice. Live on #BBCF1

Let's hope they do a good job! I'm fed up of wet practices.

I would guess humidity plays a part in that too?

Like drying clothes in a steam room. (not really but you get the idea)
I believe last year in FP1 there was some puddles still around that just would not go away.

There is still a lot of water at turn 3, the rest of the track is slowly drying and seems ok.

My BlackBerry unfortunately doesn't really have the ability to upload pictures to an online storage such as photobucket.

There is a clearly dry line thanks to the GP2 boys, but's it's like the end of Canada 2011 where the racing line is like an island
