McLaren MCL32 Honda

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

God what a rake that is...it looks like a tractor  That's one thing i hate about cars since 2009...so much rake...i loved cars being one with the ground!! But such a huge rake doesn't upset the car's traction out of very slow corners?? Still Reb Bull has proven so many years that its rake isn't a problem at all...instead the have the best traction out there!

If it gives u more overall downforce it will enhance the traction. Furthermore it allows a softer rear suspension which should help out of slow corners

miss firing is still present Ferrari and Mercedes are now adopting this idea
Mercedes has had the "missfire" (cylinder skipping) from the get go. Ferrari at least since 2015.

The MCL32 is all like "this isn't even my final form" all those screwed on parts give it away.

Of course! This is a basic launch car. I dare say it even is simpler than the RB13 launch photo in some aspects (the floor for example).

The front wing is much more complex though.
