did they forgot to add the #44, or why does Hamilton need to turn up?
He wasn't the one driving unnecessary slowly, but arguably was the reason why all the listed drivers have been summoned to the stewards for the incident... naturally, they'd want to clarify what he was doing and get his take on it.

They probably need his perspective on it. Which will be that there was total idiocy going on ahead of him and he had to take major evasive action not to have a big crash.

Q1 and Mercedes already into the 1:19's... on Mediums. No doubt they can still turn up the other aspects of the Power Unit so surely a time in the 18's looks possible by the end of qualifying?

I doubt Q2 & Q3 will be much faster. But I'll be very happy to be wrong, because that means a ridiculous 1:18's lol

So what does everybody think the pole time will be, will the lap record be broken?
1:19.119 lap record. Probably not with the engine modes and strict track limits in place, but not too far off.
Don't forget the raised tyre pressures!

So if the joke was Q3 last year, now it has started in Q1.

Seriously, what an absolute joke.

Farcical. Also looks like these new regs haven’t had the effect they were hoping for in the slightest. Merc still ahead and Ferrari still nowhere.

I’ve never seen such a ridiculous mess. Was not sure for a moment if I was watching qualifying or race.

A Ferrari out in Q1. A good job there isn't a crowd of 100,000 tifosi at the circuit. There'd be a bloodbath!

Everyone wants a tow and nobody wants to go first.

Except for the Mercs who were just going out there and doing their own thing.

Does Hamilton know what a tow is?
