I'm sure there will be some more spurious tin foil based suggestions.
I think that was shut down too wasn't it. Ted Kravits went around the paddock and asked around the paddock if it was RBR they all said no. I think it was even I think Andy Cowell that said directly in an internview it wasn't RBR and rather they just went down a bad development path. The teams tend to know what each other are upto and know the paddock secrets that they all seemed to say no I think it more telling than anythingGrizzleBoy wrote: ↑09 Dec 2024, 00:56All these weird allegations have done an excellent job of making us forget about the initial asymmetric braking scandal that accompanied a certain teams car performance suddenly changing from godly to mostly good.
Gunther Steiner also said it would show up immediately in the telemetry. And several members here with hydraulic suspension knowledge have also said it would be nearly impossible to implement a passive system capable of producing enough pressure.Watto wrote: ↑09 Dec 2024, 01:23I think that was shut down too wasn't it. That was also one of those 'weird allegations', and already essentially debunked as others have pointed out. RB's relative performance drop is entirely explainable without any conspiracy theory necessary, but people have a hard time letting conspiracy theories go when it's something somebody just really wants to believe.GrizzleBoy wrote: ↑09 Dec 2024, 00:56All these weird allegations have done an excellent job of making us forget about the initial asymmetric braking scandal that accompanied a certain teams car performance suddenly changing from godly to mostly good.

Yep. I in the end put it down to the Red Bull tray accusation was Mclaren putting heat on Red Bull. I just see it as political /PR games. The slight opening I have (and from both sides) is a very slight change it paddock rumors are more likely to have some truth to them than some random internet conspiracy. Engineers changing teams, probably all the extra data etc they have. But F1 wouldn't be F1 without the PR games to put pressure on opposition teams
