I think that F1Emotional.com is such a great idea! You should actually open it up, and host your own forums!

Then all of the crybabies can show up, and turn every discussion into a drama-pit so deep that even the light of God cannot reach the bottom...

Actually, the more I think about it the better it sounds... I think that there are MANY people that inhibit F1 message boards that would belong there more than anywhere else!

It's a cool angle and although air would behave slightly different, this really shows what those splitters do.

Sorry about the quality. 480 of of analog cable doesn't really cut the pizza.

Looks like they are cleaning up the turbulence from the front wheels too.

Does anyone else have pics like these? when there cars were literally knee deep in the water?

Again this race is full of dramas. Looks like having KERS really stir things up but with KERS you still do not get the pure performance like you do with a proper aero packages.

Is the FIRST time I have seen half pts rewarded. seems strange and in a way disappointed that they did not race fully during the rain. If the event started earlier so that it is bright, I think it makes more sense. I grew up in Msia and I knew it is late to start a race at 5pm even on a sunny day.

BrawnGP has again shown that they are real PROs. Williams and Toyotas are showing potentials but haven't converted it into points as efficiently as the Brawns have.

Also, what were Ferraris thinking? Have they gone insane? First Massa's qualifying error and then Raikkonen's horrible tire choice. I can understand if they choose to gamble on Massa (about the tire choice) as he was not in the pts anyway.

Oh boy! can't wait for the next race in 2 wks, China!!!.......

Just because it's the first time you've seen half points doesn't mean they haven't been doing that for ages.

Alain Prost, Nelson Piquet Sr, and Niki Lauda all have half points as part of their career totals, and those are just the names in the top 10.

The problem was the late starting time. That's it. Everything else is an effect of that cause.

I understand that this is not the first time but it is certainly very rare. I've followed F1 for 15 long years, from the days when Michael was a hero to the day when he retired. I have never seen this.

Apparently all locals who lived in Msia agreed that 5pm is too late for a start of a GP. I hope they will fix that next time... Unless they want to nite race like Spore.

Did anyone else start cracking up when Timo Glock starting rambling during the post-race press conference? He went on forever!, especially for a guy who finished third. The next time they asked him a question you could see Button holding in a laugh.

Also KERS isn't as lethal as i thought it would be , from the two races i've seen .
We give dogs the time we can spare , space we can spare , and love we can spare . In return dogs give us their all . Its the best deal man has ever made .

Quite possible on the higher angles of attack...

But it could also mean they have a more efficient wing (at least in terms of more downforce for a given angle of attack)... or a less efficient endplate.

But dickhead Bernie sees $$$$ and ignores them. Cue today's farce.

Charlie Whiting was not to blame, neither were the drivers, the teams, or Bridgestone.

FOM are entirely at fault here.

Are my 'facts' are wrong then?

Helluva good point (no pun intended).

Another half-baked idea from Bernie that wouldn't work in the real world?

Nah - I don't believe it!

aren't the mid sections on the wings standard?
A good wing has the vortex formation starting closer to the tips. So i would agree to the wing being efficient, since the trails were almost over the end plates.
All the teams use standardized wing profiles right? be it NACA or what have you, so i would say the BMW might not be much different than the others, seeing as how saturated the air is when it rains, water would condense at any pressure increase.
Regardless of the angle of attack we would be seeing those trails since the airfoils are very cambered too.
For Sure!!

The only standard part of the front or rear wings is the front wings central flat 300mm wide section.

No other part is a "standard" item.
