Fernando Alonso debuted at Ferrari in the best possible way by winning his first ever race for the Italian team. The Ferrari driver had some help from Red Bull as Vettel's car had a problem and fell back from the lead. Felipe Massa is second, Lewis Hamilton third.
I think it's funny how some people rushed to start the anticipated Schumi-bashing based on the 0.3-0.4sec difference from Nico, failing to realise this is the same (or smaller) difference seen between team mates at Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren as well..
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. H.P.Lovecraft
Well, guys, 2010 F1 season has started. I have slept three hours (last night I had a very good time!) but it doesn't matter: I can sleep more later during the day.
Thank you all for all the comments that have kept the forum alive during this very long intermission. Some of you have become friends (and most, my friends) during these last years: thanks for the support and the (I hope) smart and entertaining comments.
Thanks also for the fights, the swearing, the rage and the trolling: I need to do something during weekends, instead of banal things like eating, f_cking beautiful girls and dancing.
I hope you enjoy this race. Some randoms comments:
Barrichello will reach 300 races in Japan.
Michael Schumacher is running his 250 GP, the man that has won 91 GPs, the most effective driver in history.
I see the King of Spain by the track: Santander is getting some support.
It's good to see some F1 fdrivers again: Fittipaldi, Berger, Surtees, Häkkinen, Alain Prost.
Well, I'm going for some coffee, but I'm rubbing my hands in anticipation.

I can't wait, mate, I can't wait!

Oil overfill on Webbers car. JV thinks he may ahve rubbed something too.
Karun hit a barrier somewhere. Sutil and someone else spun out. And The Hulk had a huge snap oversteer moment.

Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best ..............................organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)
Vitaly's suspension broke. It's not a wishbone...other than that, I'm not sure what it is.

May be of interest to you all:
Speed Trap has Ham 1st Hul 2nd But 3rd (314-313-312) Kub 4th 310.
Couldn't make out what Vitaly said regarding his suspension. Have to get used to a Russian accent now.
@Zgred JV was saying that the car didn't sound good. So an engine problem
Edit: 5th gear isn't working.
Bruno is now out, another engine problem.
This is somewhat worrying for Cosworth, unless it's an ancillary that's broken, say oil pump.
