Get one exaust hole to blow the starter hole and the other exaust to blow over the diffusers main plane to produce a blown diffuser in the central section.

Scarabs has been telling on Twitter that there will be a considerable ammount of KERS dragging with the MGU under breaking. He has also just said that Ferarri have a new Innovative Suspension that links the front and rear suspensions via Hydrolics, will probably be passive, but control pitch of car and aid aero and mechanichal stability.
I doubt it's blown diffusor on central section, can not see air flow direction through that hole, do you? I guess this air flow have something to act with rear wing.
this picture is eye-catching:

front wing looks less complex and the rear end looks good, the suspension looks good so does the diffuser

I know its not the full thing but if you had to base predictions on how the car looks to have changed, then this won't be a top 3 car.

What questions are raised by our having seen this pre-launch launch vehicle? (please feel free to add to this list!)

- What's going on with the exhaust outlets
- What are the diagonal cables above the diffusor for (or rather what will go in their place on the final car)
- Where is the ARW mechanism
- What is the supposed linked suspension system and how does it work

I don't think that the cables are anything unusual. See this pic of the Renault - it has something similar.

So it did! Well spotted Myurr

I imagine from all the temp sensors and flo-vis on that pic this was presumably from a preseason testing session? If so, can anyone recall what eventually ended up in the place of the cables for the race car?

But it's just occurred to me that what we're seeing there might not actually be cables, but instead they might be strakes in disguise! In other words, while they certainly LOOK like cables, even from the various angles we're able to see but what if, we're actually seeing the painted end of a CF plate, and the rest of the plate disappears into the inky blackness in the shadows? It could be couldn't it, but I don't think it is!

btw. what do you think how big is the disadvantage of the lost of the ddd´s?

however, im a ferrari fan since i can think, but the last 3 years seems that they lost their creativity. i mean, from above it has still kinda the same shape as the f60,
anyway, i like this high nose, makes it look fast ;) lets hope so

Re: Ferrari F150

I just noticed some other things, not sure if these are new though.

1. Beneath the nose cone, they have RB6 style "L" shaped deflectors, which I think Red Bull alone had in 2010 (happy to be corrected).

2. I also notice that the promo car is fitted with a bib-stay. I thought that Ferrari removed the bib stay late in 2010 in favour of a more stiff bib.

3. Why do I see an Egg shaped thing (I've been told it's a ride height sensor) directly in front of the bib-stay, also as-per the RB6. I don't remember last year's Ferrari featuring this.

Is it just me ir does that Ferrari (around the sidepods, engine cover, and the neutered fin-thing they have on) look eerily similar to the Silverstone (or whichever was latest) -spec Lotus? :wtf:

Those (only smaller) were used on F10 too.

It was used @2008 definitely (not sure about 2009 or 2007), not really new for Ferrari.

Wasn't that McLaren? Ferrari stuck with a bib stay I believe.

Look at the sidepods

maybe the new radiator layout makes them 'fatter', or maybe it's the (supposedly) larger fuel tank...
