McLaren MP4-30 Pre-launch Speculation

While it will be nice to see the MP4-30 (all be it not in it's final form), I won't get excited until it hits the track on Sunday.

1pm in previous year's, would likely be the same? Is it an all press event or just a video and some pictures?

I dont expect more than a few photos, I would be happy if they release a single video.

I don't know for sure, but 11am is the Time that is mentiond the most. So take it with a grain of Salt.

seems to be white on the rollhoop/engine cover. that'll surely make it 2 seconds a lap faster than mercedes.

Going by twitter it looks like it'll either be 11am or 12pm. Would be nice if McLaren said what time the launch is, rather than being all coy about it.

maybe by witholding the time of release, they're attempting to avoid the vicious onslaught of people rushing to their website. i.e they may be trying to avoid a server overload. though their attempt is futile
