McLaren MCL32 Honda

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

MCL 32 launch spec as simple as RB 12...PP and AN do think alike.

"The McLaren is the first of the cars launched to look subtly quick, as it’s clearly not as aggressive as the likes of the Mercedes, Ferrari or Renault - but conceptually trumps the others as you can understand how the car works as one giant aerodynamic structure while consequentially achieving less drag."

It seems much faster than last year even in a straight line.

One thing I don't see mentioned a lot (unless I missed it) is the fact that they will be able to unleash more of the engine more of the time. They will be able to reach top speed much faster and hopefully be able to run a longer final gear.

I did mention the second bargeboard somewhere a few pages back when we had the (obligatory to any new car thread it seems) "OMG SECRET TUNNEL!" moment.
