That photo says so much, and mainly about doing all that on those tyres.
That brings to my mind something Angel Nieto (RIP) said when someone asked him about what are main differences between his era, and modern bikes. People was expecting some coment about power, chassis, speed.... but he said unquestionably, tires are the part wich have improved more drastically.
He said current tires for production bikes, those we all use daily, are light years ahead of those he used when racing, let alone current competition tires
He literally said his era tires were like wood, so little grip... so when you remember the tracks they did race in, with
wood tires...
They were BRAVE
