At least we are getting some racing today   doubt they’ll be much tomorrow but what a joke what’s the matter with them.
Everyone wants a tow and nobody wants to go first.
Except for the Mercs who were just going out there and doing their own thing.
Exactly. So much for the party modes fixing qualifying.

Q2 and Lewis sets a new record; 1:19.092.

You'd have to imagine what kind of pace they would have if they could use their usual qualifying ICE modes...

It doesn't even look like the Mercs are using the tow, they have 7 to 10 seconds between them.

New absolute track record in Q2 with no party mode. Such a shame that they've hamstrung these cars now - what might the lap record have been if they still had full on nutter mode in qualifying? 1.18.5?
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

I looks like Mercedes are going to have both drivers go without a tow for fairness. They clearly can as they are well clear.

Lewis purposely left a long distance to Bottas to avoid a tow. I guess Mercedes are so confident in their engines that they perfer to get a clean lap without any tow disturbing.

But WTF is this record-breaking speed? They were suppsed to be a lot slower with the mode ban lol

They don't need to, with all the pace and power they have...

How good is that Merc. Faster than last year's Ferrari even without their usual quali mode.

Does Hamilton know what a tow is?
Yep he clearly needs to be listening to you. :D
There's still Q3 yet, so now you're saying a tow is not beneficial?
Nope it’s just that Hamilton in that session decided he didn’t need it. It seems he knew what he was doing. He must still be wrong though because some internet expert knew otherwise.

Well, they still could be in strat2 right?
Than the answer to the question of how much the difference really is regarding reliability of the Merc PU will show in time. I'd say it's way way better than expected ..

How come you're clueless about everything?
Who are you again?

So pointing out that Hamilton didn't get a tow is somehow now incorrect in your world?
It's plainly obvious he's referring to your tone!
It's not obvious at all!

Some folk can't handle facts can they?!

Tell you what, the drivers are practicing Social Distancing a lot better OFF the track, than ON it!
