Overtaking in F1 and what it should not be

Current cars cannot follow close and need a help to close in that last second.

But what i don’t like is, that the following car turns up the straight with over half a second distance. Than flips the DRS and flies by with 40kph overspeed. It is not natural and also a bit unsafe.
