Indeed, small changes at the monkey seat bottom profile, as well as the diffuser edges, along with the solid gurney flaps at the outer edges, whereas the inside profile is the usual perforated.

I certainly can't tell if they perform well, but the flow-viz patters look especially expected at the outer channels of the diffuser, which form two very strong counter-rotating vortices, responsible for creating large chunks of downforce.

So it looks like they mostly concentrate on the tyre/diffuser interaction.

Two completely different diffusers do not have the same flow fields, so that picture says nothing

The flow lines look tired, doesn't have stream lines or a witness line of a vortex.

note how the liquid lines here aren't running downstream like the other lines.

To me it looks like the flow-vis has just been applied and that the car is just going out for a run..
