You can't get any better drivers out of the current field to help Mclaren than alonso and button. One driver who is aggresive and another who is smooth, there getting both sides of the coin from a development point of view.

Alonso was already faster than Vettel in CanAda Q when their ERS was on simillar level.

having good driver combo coupled with a sh!t car can overcome a great car average driver combo in the 90's but in modern era its never even going to be possible not even close!!!!!

they will be useful atleast for 0.2 at the maximum. i have never believed in McLaren estimates of lap time improvements.
remember malaysia last year sying their new nose will bring 0.5/0.6 seconds? what happend? they became slower than Forceindia!!

Ah ok, that makes more sense, didn't understood it that way.
So take away the driver part. The rest is spreading rumours, the team hasn't given that kind of details.

I ment current Mclaren drivers are way better than Ferrari drivers....why?.....well Alonso made Kimi look like a ....... and Vettel too but alot less so...any way Kimi is clearly a overrated .........
