That is a slot for the F-duct which runs up the rear wing supports.vealio wrote:Could someone explain to me how the new rear wing works?
For me it looks like something is "missing" in the middle part of the wing.
hey ..c´mon, Pastit was a huge 2 tenth slower than Rosberg ...you would not interpret something like a superiority for Brittney into it ,would you?JohnsonsEvilTwin wrote:Merc not looking too bad, especially in Rosbergs hands.
Schumacher has mentioned an "unstable rear end", but with these cooler conditions in FP2 it appears Mercedes can at least use the option tyre effectively.
It looks new to me and it is actually!
Well spotted, indeed it does look new.Yups wrote: New diffuser?
I personally think Mercedes didn't use the F-duct today. They were around the top ten in silverstone for top speed, and this refined F-duct is meant to work more effectively. We will see by FP3 tommorow morningsiskue2005 wrote:how can they be so slow in straights??

Looks like the ferrari, but simpler. Something tells me these Honda guys don't really know what they are doing.
IMO even with the big money the only reason they dominated(at first) was the extended development time and the DDD debacle....ringo wrote:Looks like the ferrari, but simpler. Something tells me these Honda guys don't really know what they are doing.
Nothing innovative on this car besides a roll hoop. The diffuser is very simple compared to even the sauber.
Mercedes showing their true "earth dreams" colours, now that the big money is gone.
