New sidepods arrived mid FP1

Okay, I've had a search and can't find any comments on it yet, so here goes:

Just watching some of FP3 at Baku and from the on-board shots, the front wishbones on the FI /appear/ to be turning with the steering.

Particularly notable on the switchback in this FP2 clip:

It's the first time I've noticed it. Not seen it on other cars & the pre-season comments about the nose hump to the effect "we're exploiting an area of the rules to help with mech. grip" make me wonder.

I'm totally open to it just be a combination of lighting and "normal" suspension geometry/travel, but something looks odd to me.

Thoughts?

Just looks like normal compression/extension on roll to me to be honest. The rules about wishbone fixings are fairly robust.

No idea,can someone offer some source into upcoming FI updates?

They haven't changed anything drastically or visibly since the start of the season

Can anyone identify what is in the outside perimeter of the rose joint? Looks like a needle thrust bearing, but I don't think it's one as there are no (as far as I know) thrust forces on the rocker arm

What for? Does the pushrod goes there or on the eyelet without thrust bearing?

I'm not understanding where does the axial force comes from.

Like all F1 cars, the other end of the push rod mounts on the upright, not the lower wishbone. It is offset from the steering axis, so the push rod moves with steering angle. This puts the offset load into the top mount, hence the thrust bearing.

Sphericals take axial thrust loads all the time so I don't think it's for that, for example when you have the pushrod mounted on the wishbone, the wishbone spherical takes an axial thrust load - either from braking or the vertical load, depending on what orientation is chosen.

I think it's more likely just a low friction version of the 'low tech' way you stop a pushrod (which has sphericals both ends) rotating along its axis and rubbing metal-to-metal on the rocker or upright. Quite frequently you'll see o-rings put either side of the spherical to pinch up the pushrod a bit which controls the movement but does add friction, this is a bit more F1!
