Not that I am implying that Ferrari are a one sided team and that their drivers are not treated on equal terms.
With that logic I belive Red Bull's car will be called SV1  now I get the idea behind those SV Lamborghinis

You misinterprit the logic. Red Bull are no-where near as one sided as Ferrari are.

Im not a McLaren hater but from front on the 26 is F'UGLY!! However it looks great from the side! imo the last good looking Macca was the MP4-24 from '09 and before that the MP4-23 was a brilliant looking car!

This is a low drag solution; ugly as it is. Talking about ugly, this thing is uglier than predator, it has the side jaws and everything. I think i will call it that from now on.
Sorry about that, the post just feels incomplete without acknowledging the looks.

I'm going to go out on a limp here...

I think the MP4-26 looks good.

Let me be clear here, I DO NOT mean its pretty. In that regard it certainly isn't. I thought the MP4-25 looked sleek and purposeful, while not nessecarily pretty it was, IMHO, the best looking car of 2010.

I'm not gonna say the MP4-26 is gonna be the best looking car of 2011, but I think it looks cool. Ok those sidepods will take some getting used to. But I will get used to them lol.

To those complaining about the looks of the car.

If it finishes 1-2 in Bahrain it will be stunning.
If it finishes 10-11 it will be a pig ugly.

If it finishes 15 laps ahead of the field all year round, it'll still be pig ugly. A mishapen, horrible excuse for an F1 car. It would be just wrong if it was any good. Nothing this foul should perform.

And before the Mclaren jizz brigade chimes in, I don't like the look of the F150 all that much. Or indeed any of this years cars. All of them generic high nosed clatterpusses with no arse.

There's a jizz brigade?

So nothing unusual for you then, nor anything ordinary. You'd better keep your eyes closed from now on.

Jizz brigade?

Personally, I think Bullwinkle J. McLaren is a bit homely, but it also has a sort of steampunk aesthetic, which I like.

The McLaren has got to be the ugliest F1 car ever. But I guess if it looks like working for them they will stick with it.

Re: Canadian GP 2011 - Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

I think so, even though it´s been proven that RBR´s car works good pretty much everywhere, these types of stop´n´go tracks has been their acilles-heel.

I think these types of tracks is really the best track for merc powered cars because they can use all of their extra grunt and from what we seen they are very strong on the brakes aswell. (Mclaren atleast)

I think it will be close but ultimately Hamilton will get his pole here.
The truth will come out...

I agree that McLaren’s pace in the slow section in Spain, the all round pace in Monaco, and Hamilton’s comfort with the Montreal circuit should give them a fighting chance to equal RB. I’m sure Alonso will be pushing hard, but Ferrari have tended not to burst into life until Silverstone. Mercedes seem to be leaders of the rest of the bunch.
