It's not about the safety or integrity of the crash structure but disagreement/discrepancy with the procedure ... anyways - Nando is running the short nose in FP2.

Laptimes, currently Alonso is almost 8 tenths faster than JB.

with a new nose, front airflow should be different.
what else should or could they have changed? wing, floor, turning vanes, sidepods? brake ducts?

Just saw the new nose on the Telly. It's well, not a looker.

It looks a lot like the second 2014 nose, I wonder how much of their limited CFD time they waisted in hindsight on the long '15 nose.
