Mercedes AMG F1 W05

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Then why does it vanish? could it be some tool for setting up loading on the suspension?

Wow... After relatively few sightings of upgrade parts at the start of the event, it seems quite of lot of subtle detail work occurred. :wtf:

The team continues to impress me with their ruthless update schedule, even as the twilight of the championship approaches. Banished are days that the team was compared to Honda.

I wonder how for how long will they continue to upgrade the car? One has to assume that the majority of the team resources are focused on the W06 and only updates that are applicable to the W06 are brought onboard.

Speaking of the W06, that car will have massive shoes to fill. I do hope they spend a lot of time optimizing reliability, though.

Any ideas on what the intake on Rosbergs car in the BlackBerry logo above the 6 could be ? It's not on Hamilton's car.

Merc have a new floor in Japan. They've added a RB style winglet at the edge of the floor & the bargeboard is attached to the turning vane.
