Maybe Button can switch to a wet setup if he is starting from pitlane

Button has left pit lane, they seemed to have fixed the fuel system gremlin.
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Must be in the sporting regs as well then,

last Event of the Championship.
34.1

Every team must provide the FIA technical delegate with a suspension set-up sheet for both of
their cars before each of them leaves the pit lane for the first time during the qualifying
practice session.
I don´t get it.

Why they started Grosjean on mediums is beyond me, two drivers on hards in front, good luck with losing time in the first stint and not gaining anything (longer stint in free air after 1st stop).

Raikkonen, Alonso, Di Resta - caused collisions Maldonado would get stop and go for.

NBC commentary speculates Ferrari's hoping that those 5 laps fresher tires will help in the closing laps...

I think so too. A one stop seemed the better option. Now they have pretty much garaunteeed they can't win. Should have left alonso out and chanced their arm.

Doubt it. He'll use them up closing down the ten second gap.

One stop was their only option and I'm surprised Ferrari didn't do it. They've done it before with Raikkonen at Monza.

Which I don't see hapenning anyway. He might close that gap back to 7 or 8s but won't get much closer than that.

Booring.

Rosberg is clumsy, Hamilton and Grosjean are one of the few capable of pulling overtakes when they have to (could have been better without ingenious start on mediums strategy #-o ), Button can't overtake, walk in the park for Vettel, Webber's car is falling apart. Overall - great race.

Raikkonen is downright amazing.
