If you had offered Hamilton 3rd after FP3 he would have ripped your arm off.

RB, Ferrari, Mercedes in the first 3 places. Lovely stuff.

Good stuff from Ric, very good. Could be a close race tomorrow.

Reasonably close from Seb, just regularly slower than RB in final sector.

Should be an interesting race - pole man hasn’t won last three years.
Yea, Vettel was so close after the first two sectors, just 0.086 behind Ric and then lost too much in last sector. Nevertheless, Ric was too far away for anyone, I guess.
I think he took a bit easy after he messed S3 on the first lap, still Red Bull had a bit of a margin.

Was Hamilton close enough in S2 to beat Vettel? It was a personal best, but i dont know how Vettels lap was at that point.

Even so, fantastic. I hope Dan gets his win tomorrow. Go go go Dan!
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Oh my god whyyy Hamilton, he threw it away in S3
Not really, he split the Ferrari's which is a great result considering everyone said they were the 3rd fastest this weekend.

RIC played it well, no mistakes - spot on. Lewis had an extra effort as well. P3 is a nice place to be compared to FP3.

Let's hope for an exciting race

I think Ham was just 0.006s slower in S2 alone, overall ahead 0.08s because of purple S1.
Even if he had matched his first run S3, he'd be ahead.

Ham and Ric on the better line into turn 1.

Assuming a bad start for P2 and P4... Not really sure what you mean with this post.

Hope the race is a good one!

He means that both P1 and P3 are on the right side, e.g. corner inside of T1. A bad start from P2 could be costly.

I'm not sure either. Now that you mention it. Is the normal racing line (grip) on the odd or even side of the grid?
