Webber already starting to crack. He is not WDC material.

Well deserved pole for Vettel, and best of all Webber is only 5th. So Alonso and Hamilton 2nd and 3rd could be interesting.

I feel sorry for Webber, he deserves better.

But man, Alonso is cold as ice! Third again, no problem!

Anybody think Hamilton should be penalized for that move on Massa?

its all down to each one's racing talent and strategy for the race... lets see if webber can finish ahead of Alonso and see if Redbull are really good to make that happen....

Its just the start... next year 20 races.....

Thinking about it more, yes, as the driver who is on a warm-up or slow-down lap should always concede to a driver on a fast lap. Plus where did he expect Massa to go? Surley the team would have been on the radio telling him that Massa was closing in?

How does Webber deserve better? Red Bull deserves a driver who isn't going to lose the WDC for them.

Alonso could have an ideal race if Hamilton gets out front, all Fred has to do is pace Vettel and keep Webber behind him.

As Brundle explained, his view in his mirrors might not have shown Massa until it was too late, and the team might not have warned him. As soon as had Massa on top of him, he did everything he could to avoid impeding him.

Calling at a 'move on Massa' would make it seem more contrived than it was.

In this case I think that the team let him down as Lewis had nothing to gain going inside like that.

I am disappointed in Webber, impressed by Hamilton and Button, and as good a performance as it was, I completely expected Alonso to do what he did. Split the Red Bulls.
