Williams FW33

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Interesting!
So, in fact the A-arm connection to the upright is arranged in such way so as to increase effective wheelbase.
Is it a result of their unusual packaging?

Interesting that the floor is bound by the rear wing, so if the wing flexes laterally, the floor too?

No, the rear wing isn't connected to the floor. The wing is only supported by the central pillar, and it must be this which allows any movement in the assembly.

Sorry, for reposting this image once again, but I have a question about those black marks on the floor around both rear wheels. It looks like if it was burned, but exhaust is in different place, so what could id be?

Really? I thought it looked good. Pardon the hideous resolution, but this was the best shot I could get so far.

Back is somewhat digestible but the front cockpit, nose cone, wing looks so damn ugly

I liked temporary livery more. It was so classic and elegant.

I guess they were waiting for when they came 4th in the WCC. That way the car can look like a big 8-ball

This reminds me of the Rothmans Livery from the mid 90s ...

We might not have the Red, White, Blue and Gold of the glory years, but there is still a touch of nostalgia right there :)
