That was 2010 wing, no DRS system. The only ones that weren't were the Renaults. The RB7 was a bit bouncy and the McLaren and the Merc were really bad. To be honest, I think you can – it seems to be hot in all the places you would expect it to be – you can make out the position of the radiators pretty accurately, you can see the engine clearly, and you can see the airbox clearly – it's just that bit (KERS sounds pretty reasonable as a guess) above and behind the engine that doesn't seem easily explained.marcush. wrote:beelsebob wrote:Wonder what hot thing is being channeled up from behind the engine and then out... The effectiveness of the insulation will be variable because it relies on reflectivity, and that obviously varies with the varying angle of incidence due to the curvature of the bodywork. Also, there will be variation in radiance due to different coloured paints and stickers.
