They seem to have forgotten the grip back at Magni Cours. :)

I hope Mercedes' can be 5th or 6th, but according to FP1 and FP2, I'm almost sure quali won't pan out in that way. They are also rumoured to cook rear tires.

Vettel really good in practice so far.
I can see him winning if the car is reliable.

I can see Webber storming to a high grid slot like he did last year and at Monaco.

Could be :)
I think they might be still be working on the updates and maybe race pace to get an idea of tire wear.

Will be interesting to see what happens today

OMG.

Glocks MARUSSIAs throttle just stuck open while he was trying to stop....had to get out of the car after he nearly crashed it. Had to fully lock all wheels with max brake to get the car to stop accelerating...

MARUSSIA.

THROTTLE STUCK OPEN.

Marussia test driver unexplicably accelerates when they are supposed to be stopping, crashing into a lorry rear lift and losing her right eye...... HMMMm.

Imagine there was a lorry lift/marshal/crashed car in front of Glock just now....

........
.

They established it was not a mechanical problem in the Di Villota accident.

Depends on whether you believe what you hear.

I've just seen basically the same almost inexplicable problem replicated in the same car with the same team.

I didn't doubt them when they said it was not technical, but I cant help but wonder.....

Maybe Hamilton could match Vettel, but it will be hard.

He seems to be hounded by traffic and small mistakes whenever he tries for fastest lap of the session.

The pace looks to be in the car.

Maybe a few tweaks to setup here and there.

We never got to see Fernando do a lap though.

yes we did see Fernando?
A 1'48''6 and it looked relatively clean to me. About where he was yesterday as well

This race makes it feel a bit like 2011 again. If the top 5 aren't the maccas, RBs and Alonso it will be a BIG surprise.

No, it makes it feel like it's 2012... We've come to a hot, track with lots of 90° corners and the red bulls car is performing well, this is consistent throughout this year. The main change is that the McLarens appear to have improved a lot at this type of track, they were no where in valencia.
