No question about it. And I think Roman deserved better from his team. Clearly the win was his if not for the final pit stop being too early?

Great job for Lotus with the double podium, really happy to see Romain perform this way, hunting down Vettel and driving the wheels off the car. If the race would have been 2-3 laps longer Kimi would have won it. Too bad it didn't happen.
Great job for Alonso and Button/Perez.

At some point the Rosberg I should was ebarassing himself holding up cars that were clearly faster than him. Not saying that he should behave like a backmarker, but a little bit of common sense at some points isn't bad when you have to mind your own strategy.
I don't know what happened to Massa. Karma is a b***h.

Now 3 weeks break. I guess I have to get out of the house.

P.S.2: No offense iotar, but I think sometimes you're on crack when you're posting around here.

Fantastic race for Vettel.

Is he now the first German to win a F1 race in Germany?

Schumacher did it. Actually both Schumachers.

No Michael and Ralph have won...

Both Schumachers won in Nurburgring but it wasn't German gp. It was European Gp.

They said he's the first German driver to win the German grand prix. The Schumacher's won the European and the Luxemburg grand Prix's in Germany. At least that's what they said on TV I don't really know.

It seems they still cannot manage tyres on a full tank but when the fuel is on the lowest i.e near the end of the race they start hitting laps easily comparable to the race leaders.. :?

Michael won the actual German GP 4 times, Ralf once.

How did alonso run out of fuel when safety car was on track for number of laps?

Solid drive from vettel and grosejan. Others clearly lucked in with safety car, including kimi and alonso.

given the marussia that decided to roll down a hill backwards and previous minor incidents ( i seem to recall hamilton having to hold onto his car at some point in the past to stop it rolling during a retirement but cant be sure), is it time for a small parking brake to be fitted to the cars or chocks to be given to marshals to help avoid that kind of situation again? i know its a rare occasion.. waits for f1tech firing squad
