McLaren MP4-29 Mercedes

But maybe it´s not a problem when you have two guys on either end holding it.
The jack latches onto the front wing not the nose.

Mclaren is using an advanced concept of nanotechnology not only on the outer lines of the the wheel to warm the tyres, but on the whole diameter of the whel, a concept which was used by the teams in 2013 only on the outer lines of the wheel. It's the first mention of using it on the whole wheel/tyre.

The front top and bottom wishbones are almost flat (a very good design), something which have not seen in recent seasons (though mclaren had some element of it in the mp4-27)

Good spot. Don't know why nobody has commented that before :-)

EDIT* The new Toro Rosso seems to have achieved near horizontal wishbones as well.

Whats every ones opinion after seeing other car launches, regarding the amount of cooling mclaren have? Do you think they have gone too cautious or have toro rosso gone to extreme? After all the mclaren does have huge sidepods and rear engine cover, wheras toro rosso and ferrari's rear end look like 2011 cars.

i think mclaren isn't too cautious, i think they'll choose to use the sidepods as intakes for additional cooling, whereas toro rosso for example has a double airbox for cooling purposes.

Mclaren has a nice undercut and they seem to have ducted the exhaust air with purpose. The inlet and overall pod shape on the Mclaren harks back to previous cars before the blown exhaust diffusers.

The TR dumps the cooling exhaust all around the engine and turbo exhaust. If you take into account the rather large intake behind the driver's head, the TR does have a rather large cooling requirement. The TR resembles more of the Red Bull style pod where there is little undercut but the pod top molds into the side of the car where the exhaust headers are.

The person who made this was too lazy to color the rear wing?? :-D And year orange/black would be cool. But I would rather have the wings black.

Mr. Ron Dennis, if by any chance you are a F1Technical follower, THIS is how we want the MP4-29 to look! =P~
