On the 1st sector (T1, T2 and T3) I feel the RB16 is better. The Balance throught that uphill turns is awesome, and the Honda PU have good power going uphill. Tomorrow I will see them on the S3 with all the slow speed turns, and I will update from there too.
Thanks, looking forward to it.
Toyoharu Tanabe (Honda F1 Technical Director): "After last week's work here in Barcelona, we analysed all the data from both teams and so we started this second test reflecting what we learned from that. Over these three days, we are continuing with function checks, as well as working on optimising the settings. We are now in a phase of fine tuning, in preparation for the season opener in Melbourne. Both our cars had to spend a while in the garage this morning and in the afternoon we focused on recovering from that delay. Despite that, everything seems to be progressing smoothly on the PU front."

Who re the most surprised in your opinion.? You with usual s... talk or us you still can write your s... ?McMika98 wrote: ↑27 Feb 2020, 01:27Surprised no one has brought up the fact that Max has lost the car badly every day of the three day that he has driven so far.
Don't see the reason for him to be over driving so early, he isn't hooked on to the car yet. Ironically Albon looked solid and although twitchy he has never lost the car. Would be very amusing if Albon gets better of Max, RedBull have given him little to no respect. Poor guy was not even allowed to drive the car on the launch day.
Albon looks good and was looking good last year too. For me if he beats verstappen it's ok.TNTHead wrote: ↑27 Feb 2020, 07:56Actually I think McMika brings up a neglected point so far...., although his style is still as undiplomatic as ever: if the RB16 is much more stable than the RB15, most probably the second driver will be much more close, which in my opinion is a very good thing. That means that Albpn will be a value to the team and Max. If Max has a below average day, Albon could be at a few tracks before him, like RIC did in his days at RedBull.
The car is not in its optimal high-DF configuration for the 3rd sector. That and plus the windy conditions in the afternoon that everybody complained about...McMika98 wrote: ↑27 Feb 2020, 01:27Surprised no one has brought up the fact that Max has lost the car badly every day of the three day that he has driven so far.

When the team is trying to find the very limits of the car during testing do you hand that bit of driving to the guy who has been with the team for quite a few years, or do you give it to the guy who joined halfway through last season?McMika98 wrote: ↑27 Feb 2020, 01:27Surprised no one has brought up the fact that Max has lost the car badly every day of the three day that he has driven so far.
