Webber will be in a hard position tomorrow, Massa will do everything to pass him at the start, it will be the most nervous start of the season!

The BBC radio 5 commentary called it slightly different in that Hamilton should have slowed further to allow Massa to pass unimpeded. I could understand if there was a penalty or reprimand handed out but at the same time as both made it through to Q2 then no harm no foul I guess.

I honestly did not think Alonso would pull it out of his hat like that. The Ferrari did not look very fast.

I feel for Webber. He looks like he has lost his mojo, and I can imagine why.

No one here expecting reckless attacks by Webber and Button to Alonso at the start? Start is going to be hectic to me, and a shunt cannot be ruled out.

WOW. MASSIVE qualifying session. I must admit I almost got a heart attack there. Lewis looked supreme. Based on what just happened in qually (NOT the race... for anyone who's saying that the race is tomorrow and it's a long race) , can anyone imagine what would happen if Red Bull had done a swap in Brazil?

As much as I don't like him (again, personal opinion) I feel sorry for Webber. He looked very depressed in the interview with the Beeb, and his energy had all gone away. I felt like he was on the verge of tears.

Start will be epic. I'll be on the telly one hour in advance and with a potty break 15 minutes before the start to ensure full view of the start

Webber will have to apply pressure on Alonso and overtake him as Alonso's engine has highest mileage and thus cannot withstand too much pressure.

Come on, Mark. You can do it and win the WDC [-o< . It is now or never!

Vettel will have to a lot of driving it appears with other cars near him, not his strong suit.

I don't want to see him chop over someones wing again, but it wouldn't surprise me if he did.

In the RTL coverage Christian Danner said that the soft tires will have to be changed early and the hard ones are not that good to last the rest of the race. So the Bulls did only one stint to have another soft tire to use for fast laps at the end of the race.
Later Helmut Marko said that Vettel's strategy was to do three fast laps and Webber four. Since their fastest laps were the second ones on the track Webber did his lap with more fuel before his tires were gone.

I'm very curious about tomorrow. Maybe now Webber's job is to put away Alonso ...

The real fireworks at the start could potentially be between Hamilton and Alonso. Best bud's they are not.

Also Glock was not on the same team as Hamilton, so hardly team orders anyway. Just sour grapes from another Ham-hater.
Hamilton is a great driver I'm no hater, just giving an example of how unpredictable F1 can be. No hater's up-in-here...

Peace!
:? so when you said "Glock slowing down for Hamilton" what exactly did you mean/imply? And right before it you said something about team orders

Webber's engine has done a similar mileague (if not more).

The radio 5 commentary have called it correctly saying it was just an unfortunate incident with Massa on a fast lap trying to take the same corner as Hamilton whilst Hamilton was on a warm-up lap. Neither driver saw the other until they were both in the corner.
I think it was mostly Hamilton's fault, partly Massa, and part racing incident. Hamilton complained about it pretty "loud", probably to hide his culpability.

When I first saw those corner bollards (at the start of Q) I thought, why are they there? They look dangerous. I thought they'd break a front wing for sure. Apparently Hamilton's survived. Meh /shrug

EDIT: Not penalty worthy though, since Hamilton went completely out of track to avoid Massa and didn't actually impede him. But had they crashed it would have been mostly his fault imo.

Fantastic qualifying session and it was very breath-taking as well. Vettel did pretty well as did Hamilton. Alonso looked so calm I believe and maybe that's the key to win the championship  . Tomorrow's start will be VERY interesting and I can't wait to see what's gonna happen!

I'd be even more surprised than I was in Brazil if there's no early "contact", probably first lap.
