Though there was was something taped on the endplate here:
look near the floor as well, exhaust temp strips.
There are a few earlier on in the thread. If you search my posts you'll find one with a high res image.govind112 wrote:diffuser pics?
Indeed, as I just noted on the previous page:Formula None wrote:Behold! The incredible disappearing sponsor logo!Tim.Wright wrote:Very cool,

But then I thought about it a little more and realised, for the first few races at least, the fans are going to be fixated on that thing just waiting for it to move, so actually it works in favour of whichever sponsor gets their name on that thing.
Is that what I previously described as red stripes in a 45 degree cut exhaust exit? They were definitely not visible in the enveiling shots, and the actual outlet appeared to be covered with a CF panel.ringo wrote:look near the floor as well, exhaust temp strips.
Who could think that Ferrari might be anything but whiter than white?andrew wrote:Are you implying that Ferrari will have an illegal device on their car, despite all their shouting against the double diffuser in 2009 and their rants against Red Bull last year?Just_a_fan wrote:A new flexi-wing controversy in the making...

Joking aside though, I don't think there are currently any deflection tests in that area are there?Just_a_fan wrote:@42

The idea was that the stays might alow downward flex at speed which would place the floor nearer the ground. The nearer the ground the better it works.forty-two wrote: Not sure how a floor (at the back) which could flex up but not down would be of benefit at the moment.
Granted, but a cable stay only normally works in tension, so I suspect that there might be scope for the floor to flex upwards, but not perhaps downwards. While I agree that allowing the floor to move closer to the floor might be beneficial, I can think of a couple of wierd ways in which allowing it to move upwards might help. For example, remember the bendy bib of the RB6 which allowed them to get away with running super low without wearing the plank, well what if Ferrari have found a similar trick?Just_a_fan wrote: The idea was that the stays might alow downward flex at speed which would place the floor nearer the ground.
