All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

That's not the engine, looks like the ordinary engine we've had for some time now.

I suppose it would look similar to the curent engine from the rear (and without the turbo).

Wow, the box (inlet manifold) looks smaller than I thought but the intercooler looks biiig. How will the engin's oil and water rads look ? it's nice they covered the exhaust manifolds with CF like RBR did in 2011

Anybody an idea, why the covered the exhaust in carbon fibre?

On page 4 and 5 of this PDF file, you can read that the fuel quantity per race is limited to 100kg. The 2014 Technical Regulations do not contain this limit, only the 100kg/h flow rate is mentioned.

Probably to prevent heat loss and make turbine more effective.

That would also be my guess, but is there carbon fiber available that can withstand the temperatures right at the beginning of the exhaust pipes?
