Amazing by Fernando. The car came alive at multiple times in the race, Fernando made some phenomenal overtakes especially on lap 1, and had the pace of RB at times. OK maybe not as fast overall, but considering a new package it was perfectly executed by Fernando and made up for even the pitstop. 10/10 race by him and a brilliant result for the team

Alonso has been incredible today, his pit crew not so much...

Let's give Alonso credit but let's not forget the car had pace that made it all possible. Also I think they have a design problem with those rims/bolt/connection that cause those issues under certain conditions. They need to figure out for next year. The Rims are a standard part though right ?

The car was fast in all conditions for Alonso, but stroll was so disappointing. Nobody talks about it anymore tho.

Wish we could see dry pace in comparison with Merc and McLaren to know if it’s the upgrades or the conditions and the driver making the difference.

Ferrari will be good at Monza as they like low downforce, rear limited tracks like Baku as well. Could see it being very close in quali between RB/Ferrari/AMR and then RB's usual race pace may take over

Rumor has it in Singapore AM will introduce different material to FW that will allow it to flex more(pre Canada level)

yeah 100%, looked like the aston of the first few races. lets hope it's not track specific and a genuine improvement regaining our foothold on the others behind red bull

definitely, fernando said he had lots of confidence with the car which allowed him to do what he did. In relative terms compared to others it's not as fast as it was at the start of the season, yet, but balance for sure has improved. Monza will be interesting, no idea how it will go there, but at least to check what the speedtraps say as Zandvoort would suggest they have removed quite a bit of drag from the car.
