Anybody who thinks FIA will do anything hasnt been paying attention to how they operate. Its a business. Entertainment business, more specifically.

They won’t do anything this season. The second half is a spectacle that Liberty couldn’t have hoped for in their wildest dreams. It’s attracting tons of coverage. Maybe a rule clarification for ‘25 or new tests but that’s it

yeah the wing is flexing more and it's also opening up the DRS gap, that really is worth an easy 2-3kph, I don't know man... Ferrari spent 2 years to catch up with RBR rear wing efficiency that amounted to 2kph and MCL is then allowed to just make the wing flex like that and the DRS to open up.

Will probably end up with another nothing burger but it's frustrating.

Sorry but the "cheating" word needs to be used here.

Nice diagram.

So the McLaren wing is actually a disadvantage for speed.

Just think how fast their car will be when they fix it.

You don’t even know the effect on the flow field, so no.

It’s just guessing.

Ok, would you mind explaining your reasoning then? I see less DRS delta by 4kph. You take this and think they have a worse wing. Do you perhaps think they should open DRS more to make up for the fact that it's already a bit open to begin with?
