I know people always like to have a pop at Raikkonen's 'motivation', but he didn't seem to have any trouble dragging a Ferrari into beating a Force India at Spa in 2009.

I think you have to look beyond the ice creams and the general demeanour. We should get some entertainment out of it nonetheless, if some of us can actually watch it next season.

I have no doubts over Räikkönen's motivation when it comes to winning, but will it stay intact when fighting for 9th?

But anyway, if this is true, where does the money come from, or is Kimi still living from his Santander money?

As I have heard Raikkonen's salary is coming from Qatar.

As for him getting disillusioned, it's the same for any driver and it will be the same for Raikkonen. It will be interesting to see if Williams are able to respond or whether he just sees them as a stepping stone.

Ooops Qatar...there goes the RB&V, I can still remember how Clay Regazzoni had to celebrate William's first GP victory at Silverstone in 1979 without the champagne.

Back then I think it was saudi, the National Carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that were the major sponsor for WilliamsF1.

I don't think Raikkonen's motivation was ever really to question actually. I think Raikkonen's on-track motivation is well and truly proven. Even when not fighting for podium/victory; but more that he hates talking to media and when they come; he turns to a "For crying out loud; not again!" slouch.

According to Lewis Hamilton's father, his son will be able to focus more on racing now that he's split with his G/F Nicole Scherzinger.

I think its too little - too late. Better luck next year, mate  .

Trailer - the whole context was that Lewis would prove it in the last 3 races; and that next year Lewis won't make the same mistakes anymore

I persoanlly don't think that Hamilton's bad season has anything to do with his ex.

And I believe that Button will once again end up on top among the two. But for the heck of it, we'll see how well he does in the last 3 races this year.

I don't think it has anything to do with his ex either; but his dad's comments weren't geared towards his son's ex

That sensational headline bears little resemblance to what was said ...
