Perhaps it's just wishful thinking, but with the mapping issue being fixed I'm hoping it'll bunch the pack back together.
McLaren suddenly gained pace last weekend, Red Bull suddenly gained pace a few weekends back and Ferrari have been slowly getting faster all the while Mercedes have been left standing...that half second Norbert said Mercedes need might end up being less than it appeared in Germany.
Like others I'm surprised there hasn't been any major visible updates on the car in a while. Even if they are focusing on their tyre management it doesn't seem to be better than the others...I just keep hoping for rain!

Isnt the car good during the last stint of racing? Am I wrong in thinking that the car is ba d with lots of fuel?

Even so, the car is quite good when light on fuel.

deduct one pitstop in and outlap from the elapsed time and we get a picture .
Surprisingly the extra stops did not really at the start of the race but towards the end.So either they need to make the tyres live longer (there was never a hint of the tyres degrading significantly before their stops laptimewise)so maybe they are just too cautious not to get near the cliff or they just could not make the prime tyre work good /long enough.
If that was the case even those 10something laps on hards were too much.
So basically the strategy to concentrate on the option tyre was maybe wrong considering sauber was just as quick on the primes .

Can you point them out?

- little hole just above the inner side join of the upper flap and the middle flap
- thin vertical join from main plane to middle flap

there also looks to be some tiny gurneys on the inner side of the upper flap adjust, but that might not be new, I'd have to check an old photo.

I think almost every joint has been changed, and there are some changes on the mainplate as well. The curves near to middle of nose are gone. In addition, It seems to me that, the new one is a little steeper than the old wing

All the three elements are connected to centre default section, they are blowing all three elements of the front wing

You might expect a half a tenth to a tenth from minor front wing changes.
