FIA won't let Mercedes supply 5 teams while Fez supply 3 and Renault just 1.
They'll be returning to Renault. Interesting timing that Renault are developing a split turbo engine for 2022
There could be other solutions:
Yeah, I find it really boring also, at least when we had Rosberg there was somebody who could offer a challenge Hamilton in pure performance from time to time. I say this as someone who was a hardcore mercedes fan from 2011-2015.mem wrote: ↑02 Oct 2020, 11:50iam actually happy this is great nwes Honda just slapped FIA face for being Mercedes whores , how can any one compete with the current utter dominance of Mercedes , FIA didn't do any thing to end this farce , so what the point continuing like that , its been 7 years of extremely dull boring racing with Hamilton cruising to wins week after week year after year , i don't even know what makes Renault and Ferrari accept this humiliation.
FIA should rename F1 to Mercedes worldly fictional tournament.
please RBR withdraw from this nonsense.
And who funds the Williams change? They’re being forced to take on Renault PUs in your scenario, no?
Renault is about to change pu layout. I expect Redbull will back Renault with both team.
Motorsport.com tr says Abiteboul will make an interview about this
daf**k you on about??? its not like honda engine is flawless this season. 3 PU dnfs for verstappen, not to mention merc is running away in performance metrics on every single level related to PU: peak power, sustained power, reliability and so on.Wouter wrote: ↑02 Oct 2020, 10:46Honda's demand to stay in F1 was that they could fight for the championship.
And what does RBR do ??? They develop the worst car since years before 2020 !!! Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Very sad for Max, who could have become champion this year if RB had developed a good car.
Mercedes unlikely to ever supply Red Bull, Williams have a contract until 2025, why would they give that up?
I don't think so at all, Renault also was vocal it was a mistake by RBR leaving them and they will be out of customer teams next year. I am sure they will prefer two paying customers and a change to prove themselves over just being a one trick pony. it is RBR for who it would be hard to go back.
I thought the same with McLaren but they let that happen. So one never knows but agreed it's an uphill battle.
Another absolutely dumb comment.
FIA should make the Mercedes/Ineos Aston Martin PU mandatory and call the class F-Mercedes. Problem solved. Next season we'll have McLaren, Merc, Williams and RP driving around with a Mercedes PU. That's almost half of the grid.
